busy weekend really....

dad was induced into bridge officially, so that was fun ♥

was boss seeing everyone from wem again.....made the mistake of saying "wem is the best" without thinking to a few people from the bridge, whoops!

but hey ho, thats life!

soo....it seems that i have some brains ;) found out a coursework mark today...worth 50% of this year and i got a first.....or an A+ (for those who dunno what a first is ;) )

i am in shock still....but its exciting stuff :)

its been a little while....but i am back (horray!!)

i dont know what to write really, as life if pretty simple at the moment and not much is happening at all.

my little sis laura has broken her foot though so she is all casted up and her school keep sending her work via email (mum decided she was goin to ask for some for her....bit harsh!!)

been prayin alot lately about the people in haiti...unbelievable how they are still pulling people out alive. i just feel for those who may never be found in amoungst the rubble and mess.....i pray that God will surround them with love and they may feel him there.....in their time of need. because we know that God is a God of compassion!

well my daddy dearest is being induced into the bridge chapel this saturday at 3 (so if your free....you can always pop along and support fam whiteway!!)

looking forward to having one of my favourite girlies coming to stay with me tomorrow night...ella and then having the rest of the gorgeous lord's join us for breaky at the tavern on saturday morning.

along with that....a veryyy old friend bec is coming up to liverpool on saturday and staying with me til mon so thats gunna be fab...its been way too long!!

great to see so many youth come through the doors of the church once more!!
have to say i didnt realise how competative i have become...ian's games were boss though!!
and "ladders" scouse style happens to be alot more violent than everyone else's version, ha!

oh yeah and had a lovely night out with my girlies....hayls, soph and con on thursday ♥ us two happy house couples hit garlands :)

thats about my life at the mo .... except our laura broke her foot the other day :(

a creator......?

Why cant you look, just search and see?

hey people ♥

dont really have much to say....except the snow is finally clearing which means back to uni i am :)

rather thrilled about that if i am quite honest with ya; i was getting rather bored with being stuck at home with nothing to do!

kicked off yesterday with a lecture in teaching assesments followed by a seminar with my very cool tutor...stasia ♥

led to a few debates about creation vs evolution...really weird how it got onto that subject!
but it was great to see the amount of christians who are in my class actually - real encouragement ♥

the way i see it....creation has to be a fact - its simple logic (to me anyhows)

climb a mountain and look at the view below.....that came from nothing?
look at each individual as you walk down the path.....we just evolved into this did we?

my dad always uses the example of a watch....so intricately designed and made so it ticks and looks perfect, but even that simple watch had a designer - it had a creator!

look at the world....how much more complex it is and your telling me an explosion created it?
somehow that baffles me!

yesterday i returned to liverpool....as quite a quick journey compared to the day before so that was nice!! :)
Ella had to stay in hospital with rich over night and so i didnt get to see her after she came back.....but despite not having much sleep she is still alive and well....so thats a big answer to prayer and she returned home yesterday afternoon after i had left.

i decided to venture back to my parents house so that i wasnt lonely at mine....because with uni being off hayls went home to be with her family so i thought i would do the same...♥

the rest of the day was full of chillaxing and nothing much else, but it was good all the same :)

today was a slow start; lazed in my peejays till i decided to get my bum off the sofa and get a shower....

but we watched "the guardian" which is an incredible film and a real must see!! so if you fancy like borrowing it at any time....feel free ;) it honestly is one of my favourites (and no its not the girlie type guys....i would say its more of a boys film)

dads new surround sound system....made it sound even better so that was enjoyable.

i then headed into town to sort my blackberry out and then did a bit of shopping!

thats the last two days for me....quite fun, though i have to say i am bored of being off uni now and i am desperate to go back, just for something to do!

so yeh, enjoy whatever you find yourselves getting up to this weekend...

well....
liverpool is currently shut down, due to the snow....snow.....and yet more snow!

bee paid a visit to the city on tuesday - lovely to see her, yet because of the silly blizzard that seemed to hit liverpool on tuesday all at once....we had to train it...walk it...and then taxi it back home!

the train was squished...
i fell over millions of times on the walk...
and well the taxi journey, that was a different kettle of fish ;) lets just say, the taxi man wasnt the loveliest man on the planet (to say the least!)
but we got home alive and well....thankfully :)

the rest of the evening we stayed in watching some films, eating tea and just havin general chit chat with my home girl hayls...... ♥

oh and did i mention i got a purple blackberry too? yey!
love it...its official ♥

the next day...bee was due to go home on the train, but because busses were not running and neither were taxi's as the roads were ice rinks...that proved impossible!!

sooo instead we went for a little wonder to sefton park and had a lovely walk, suprise how snow can be a right pain in the bum, but also extrememly beautiful too! (pictures above are from our little walk)

walking back down smithdown, we stopped at a little cafe called "oomoo" the guy who owns/runs the place is a christian and attends frontline church, which is down the road from where i live....had a good little talk with him, and the atmosphere in there is awesome...real peaceful ♥

bee also amused herself by listenin into these two dudes who were having a conversation about proposals and marriage...was quite hilarious how we would be talking about something completely different and she would suddenly start realing off this conversation between these two guys to me!

after arriving back, rather frozen.....we defrosted ourselves with a little cuppa and then some tea...followed by another film....more talking and then bed!

was lovely to have her for the extra night, i have to say!!

i spontaniously jumped back on the train with her to wem today, and came to visit my fave family...the Lords :)
(had to travel the world to get here though, with the cancellation of trains, but a pitstop it chester, wasnt so bad after all.....jack wills makes it worth the while :P)

so now i am just about to have a lovely cuppa with sarah whilst waiting for ells and rich to get bk from a&e (ells fell over earlier and bumped her head) praying she will return in one piece!!

despite all that...everything seems to be perfect right now!!

well its back to my place now...

hayley is back in the wonderful city that is liverpool....and so i have moved back in to ours with her :) she is just lovely, missed her alot as she has been back home for the holidays (she lives in sunny scarborough - so she has a funny yorkshire accent, yes!) but catching up was awesome as it always is.

packing and unpacking aint so cool though...takes ages and its just so boring, so i have amused myself on the good old spotify, listening to some classics...westlife (shut up...theyre boss!!)

have a stooopid essay to do tomorrow, kinda lost the question sheet like so thats my excuss for not doing it over the christmas hols - despite the fact that if i had bothered lookin then i would have found it pretty quick, turns out it wasnt really lost at all ;) ha!

this weekend had some friends over from the lovely wem along with dan (my bezzie) which was lovely....and a good laugh, as it always is when dan is in the room - spesh when you get jacob and dan together!

Jacques was also over from SA...he wanted to come visit the amazing city of liverpool!!

so we entertained him with the wii ... first go, and he was better than me, mind you...its not hard really!! ha ;)

abi and i went away to south africa for a month...whilst we were away we spent some time at morning star...which is a christian daycare centre for children with HIV and AIDS.

this is a presentation that we made about our time there and the special children that we had the privalage to meet.
